Another of the companies that used the Southern Bait Company name was located in Micco, Florida. Lehr M. "Bill" Wertz made lures for only a few years from 1945-1949. In addition to making his own lures, Wertz is believed to have painted some baits for Coast to Coast Tackle of West Palm Beach, Florida. |

| Though very similar, there are subtle differences in the painting and physical characteristics of these three lures. They are rather large pier baits, measuring 4.25" in length. Two of them weigh 1oz and the third one weighs 1.3oz. | ||
